| Simran Godhwani is an accomplished Kathak artist & the Founder & Director of Krshálá – the performing arts school in Koramangala. She was an HR professional for four years in a leading MNC in Bangalore. She is a senior disciple of Guru Murari Sharan Gupta and a principal dancer at Samam. She learnt the classical dance of Bharatanatyam form for 14 years and Kathak for over 4 years.
Simran started Krshálá to impart focussed training on various performing arts related subjects to individuals and children from the age of 3 onwards. She is also a teacher of performing arts to children of Head Start Montessori, Neev, Vidya Niketan and various other reputed schools in Bangalore. She has performed for various reputed organizations in India. Simran also choreographed a unique show called “Mind, Mood and Madness” which brought the styles of Kathak, Bharatanatyam and Salsa together. She has integrated Dance & Yoga to a form called DanceYoga which combines the techniques of different types of Dance and Yoga that affect the body like no other form of exercise
